IDWales Markets

Although it is a small country, with more sheep than people, Wales has an ancient culture, rich heritage and true strength of character.  Home to King Arthur, voted the friendliest nation and considered to be the Land of Song one can truly extol its diversity.

To make the most of the message, one has to understand the markets, which raises many questions.  Here are just a few to consider:

  • Who are you catering for and to, are they local, national, international and what problems and issues come with targeting those markets.
  • Should you focus on leisure, business or travel trade markets rather than try to be something to all, particularly if there is limited resource of time and/or budget.
  • Do you really need to spend all your money on marketing?  What can you do on a tight budget?  Do you need a Brand?  Do you understand brand guidelines and what a ‘brand’ really is?
  • And not least, who else is marketing alongside you?  Can you partner with them on their campaigns?

If you need assistance in understanding what markets are best for you and your business, contact Alycea Lamb-Horth on alycea@IDWales.com and she can assess which markets are the right ones for you to target, who you should be working with and she will recommend potential partners to make your impact go further.  If you are based in South East Wales this is a free service, so take advantage.
