If you are interested in developing a short break there are quite a few avenues for you in terms of Assistance. Capital Region Tourism have hired Alycea Lamb-Horth from IDWales to assist businesses develop breaks, whether its potential ideas or partners or assistance in understanding the avenues of promotion open to sell your short break. She will meet with you one-on-one, at no cost to you (if you are based in the South-east region of Wales) and go through the various points and discuss with you various options. Marketing Funding for Short Breaks:
Capital Region Tourism(CRT) is potentially offering £25,000 worth of funding to assist tourism businesses market and stimulate short breaks in S E Wales from 1st April 2008. Each applicant can apply for up to £4,000 in funding. The money would be available on a first-come, first successfully accepted basis, so if you are interested and plan to develop a short break or series of breaks for 2008, find out more by logging on to www.capitalregiontourism.org and reading the guidelines.
