You probably have never thought about how Expedia or Last Minute.com gets those great deals or your local Travel Agent puts together those package offerings when it comes time to choose your holiday. But that’s the Travel Trade market, and we work with them to get potential visitors to book their holidays here.
Southern Wales works to encourage Tour Operators and Agents to promote and include the regions accommodation, attractions, events and more in their packages to their customers.
They assist Buyers to understand the region and all it has to offer through visits, information and a website (www.visitsouthernwales.org) of product information. When a Tour Operator wishes to know more or something specific or wants to arrange to do business these ‘hot leads’ are passed direct to the tourism businesses.
Visit Wales has a Team that work with Tour Operators, Agents, Wholesales, etc. to offer Wales as a destination. On their website www.traveltradewales.com are lists of Operators who are promoting and offering Welsh holidays. If you want to work closer with this market, get in touch with a few that sound right for what you offer and see if you can't start a relationship mutually beneficial to you.
