There are now a few ways you can promote on www.VisitWales.com.
If you have a special offer or event going on, like a poetry slam or a festival, you can promote it on their Special Offers page, under Events and/or Things To Do.
This is in addition to your own managed entry.
How to…
Special Offers Page: special offers are posted (free) on the site (takes about 1 week to post). You must indicate clearly that your information is for the Special Offers page. A special offer must contain exactly what the offer entails, a start and end date and a route of contact, i.e. telephone or email. A special offer is not a normal term of business but something extra or different. (see www.visitwales.co.uk under Special Offers for examples)
Events and Things To Do: If you have an offer, walk, festival, short break, etc., make sure the Visit Wales team are aware as well. To clarify and avoid confusion, make sure your email contains the normal details of events, whether you consider it a special offer, and/or an event, and the requirements of the entry, e.g. indicate if it is for entry onto the site under Things To Do, to be included in Special Offers and/or listed on the Events Calendar.
These are an additional promotional avenue for you, and you can, of course, amend and add to your own details on Visit Wales yourself - giving you potentially 4 opportunities to get your information out there.
